Serpent of Self is the first Chapter of Athenaeum.blue – an immersive gaming odyssey, that explores themes of hybrid bodies, materiality, non-binary dreams, mysticism, primal forces of nature and ritual – as a form of healing and reclaiming the energy.
Pussykrew creates new narratives and womxn-centered mythologies driven by cross-cultural folklore and speculative fiction. Artists are trying to find new ways of seeing human/non-human experiences and open up new possibilities for alternative narratives.
The piece is an online gaming experience, with cinematic elements of interactive film, using a blend of real-time game engine and AI-generated poetry. Participants are able to traverse through virtual environments and choose their own path, to navigate the story.
